Education Qualifications:

Athletic training program graduate with successful completion of NATA (National Athletic Trainer Association) certification examination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides Athletic Trainer services to patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric in a sports or clinical environment, i.e. physical therapy clinic, schools and athletic events, including evaluation and assessment, education, treatment and consultation services and related patient care services under the supervision of the team physician.
  • Provides patient care activities under direct supervision of a physician in a musculoskeletal clinical setting.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

  • Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines
  • Certification in CPR
  • Current cert by the NATA
  • Current state registration in appropriate state
