Seeking an audiology assistant to serve in Essentia Health's hearing aid center at South University Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. This medical professional works 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off for a total of 32 hours weekly. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required.Education Qualifications:

What You'll Do:
Assists in planning, organizing and implementing the activities occurring at the scheduling desk by performing clerical, receptionist and computer duties. Position is also responsible for monitoring and updating the point of service data collections, demographics and billing information. Provides limited direct patient care and also performs identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Will also assist, trouble shoot, maintain, and repair hearing aids.
Computer duties will include data entry into electronic medical records (EMR) in the audiology clinic. Will assist in verifying patient insurance details and ensure accurate billing information. Coordinate with insurance providers for claims submissions and follow-up on approvals and denials. Maintain office inventory of supplies and hearing aid related accessories. Assist with general office duties, including filing, scanning, faxing, and mail management. Assist patients with basic information on hearing aids, equipment, and services. Handle clerical tasks as assigned to support clinic staff and audiologists.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of administrative office experience.
- Previous data entry & receptionist experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience and EPIC experience preferred.
