Job Description:
Repairs, calibrates, and maintains a variety of biomedical equipment, devices, instruments, and medical systems. Inspects, installs, and performs inventory assessments and preventive maintenance of clinical equipment. Responds to service requests and completes maintenance inspections. Will record medical device repair and maintenance history in CMMS database. Works with IS teams and vendors to address medical device security. The technician is mentored by more senior technicians while completing projects, following up on equipment recalls, and interacting with medical staff to reduce operator errors and equipment malfunctions.Education Qualifications:
Associates degree required with a preference in biomedical or electronics program.
OR
1 year of experience with repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer.

Compensation Range: $27.53 - $41.29 / hour
