Job Description:

Calibrates and maintains all types of clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems. Inspects, installs, and performs inventory assessments and preventive maintenance of clinical equipment. Responds to service requests and completes maintenance inspections. Will record medical device repair and maintenance history in CMMS database. Works with IS teams and vendors to address medical device security. In addition to responding to service requests and completing maintenance inspections, acts as a mentor to level I technician with minor projects, follows up on equipment recalls, and interacts with medical staff to reduce operator errors and reduce equipment malfunctions.

Education Qualifications:

Associates degree required with a preference in biomedical or electronics program.
OR
1 year of experience with repair and maintenance of medical equipment.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
