Join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Team in Virginia, MN! We are seeking a full time Cardiac Rehab Specialist with a background in Exercise Physiology/Science to join our team!This position will also provide support to other Cardiac Rehab sites. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs.Education Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
6 months experience in cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation or Successful completion of a cardiac rehabilitation internship of at least 400 hours
Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Certification/Licensure Required:
East Market:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP)
West and Central Markets:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification at the exercise specialist level within 2 years of employment or a current RN license in ND with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 2 years
