Join our accomplished Cardiology Team at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. St. Josephs Medical Center is a 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency room. As one of Essentia Health’s Catholic facilities, we strive to provide holistic healing for all human life.Under supervision, functions as a member of a team utilizing equipment and services. Sets up, operates and monitors specialized equipment and supplies utilized for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Functions as assistant to cardiologist or surgeons during catheter-based and devise implant procedures.Education Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of a Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent program. If not a graduate of above programs must have 4yrs of direct cath lab experience.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Must be currently registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or must become RT(R) or RCIS certified within 12 months of hire or transfer.
Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire).
Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire).
