LPN or Medical Assistant - Full Time Days - Fosston Clinic

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our family practice at our Fosston Clinic. This LPN or CMA works Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. No holiday or on-call rotations are required, but there is a weekend rotation. The weekend rotation supports our walk-in clinic and hours are 9 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays when required. This employee will complete standard rooming processes, assist with basic medical procedures and tests, such as collecting swabs or urine samples, dressing wounds, and inserting catheters under the supervision of an RN or physician. In addition to helping answer questions of patients through our in-basket workflow. The ideal candidate is a great team player with excellent computer skills.Assists RN, Physician and Advanced practice other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
