Job Description:
Responsible for general maintenance in a medical specialty campus. Provides routine and preventative maintenance including inspection, general maintenance and repairs on various systems such as pressure boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment. May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned. Special Boilers license preferred. Main duties will be centered in International Falls with possible Bi- weekly travel to the Ely and Babbitt clinic sites.Education Qualifications:
East:2 years of classroom training or 2 years of experience in building maintenance.West/Central:1 year classroom training or 1 year experience in building maintenance.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

East:
Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.
Northern Pines Medical Center Location Only : Minimum 2nd class C boiler license preferred, or the ability to obtain a special license within 4 months; and a 2nd class C within 18 months from date of hire.
East Brainerd Lakes:
Current Class “Special” Boilers License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
EH Virginia:
Minimum 2nd class B boiler license preferred, or the ability to obtain a special license within 4 months; and a 2nd class B within 18 months from date of hire.
Moose Lake:
Current Class "Special" Boilers License or ability to obtain within 18 months as required by the facility or holds a higher certification (such as 2nd Class B or C, 1st class license or chief A, B or C license)
West:
Current Class “Special” Boilers License or ability to obtain within 6 months (excludes Park Rapids and North Dakota locations).
Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer (excludes 32nd Avenue – Fargo).
