Work alongside 2 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Clinicians in a collaborative, team-based environment. Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite and innovative programs offer exciting opportunities to enhance patient access and treatment options for both acute and chronic GI conditions, including those affecting the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, liver, pancreas, and colon.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consults and follow-ups in the clinic.

About the Role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. You will provide healthcare to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. You may care for patients ranging in age from 18 to elderly, depending on your area of expertise. This position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
- Previous gastroenterology experience/knowledge preferred but not required
Licensure/Certifications required:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND and MN.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in ND and MN.
- Current certification in CPR.
- National certification, in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
