Our outstanding Interventional Neurology team seamlessly collaborates with our experienced Comprehensive Stroke Program, comprising of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, a Stroke Program Manager, a Stroke Educator, and a Stroke Program Data Specialist.

- Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- Inpatient call coverage 1:2 during business hours with MD support and collaboration.
- Manage care and assist with Interventional Neurology Endovascular Procedures.
- Ability to partner with exceptional physician mentor leads in our Interventional Neurology Department.
- Clinic patients include Stroke, TIA, Carotid Stenosis, Aneurysms, and Complex Neurological Disorders.
- Volumes:
- Inpatient: 2-4 consults per day with daily follow-up and rounding.
- Outpatient: 8-12 patients per day
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Position requires a high level of patient-centered skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
- Prefer candidates with background/experience in Neurology or Stroke.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification, in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
