NP/PA – Sleep Medicine
Fargo, ND
We are seeking an NP/PA to join the Sleep Medicine team at our South University Campus in Fargo, ND. The provider will partner with one (1) part-time physician (a Neurologist trained in Sleep Medicine) and 3 APC’s in offering exceptional care to our growing number of patients. Step into a fulfilling role that provides you with an American Academy of Sleep Medicine 4 bed sleep lab and a dedicated team of caregivers.
- 1.0 FTE, full-time status
- Mon-Fri from 8a-5p
- Based at South University Campus in Fargo, ND
- 100% clinical setting; no call coverage
- 12-18 patient encounters per day
- Sleep studies performed including but not limited to Sleep Apnea, Insomnia and Restless Legs Syndrome
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate states (if NP).
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate states.
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification, in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
