Job Description:

Directs, manages, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care and patient support services to achieve a specified standard of nursing care for a designated patient population. Ensures the existence of streamlined patient care delivery systems, which promote smooth patient transitions across the patient care continuum. Through effective fiscal and operational management, maintains optimum patient care unit systems, including staffing, scheduling, general resource allocation, and communication systems. Assures orientation, ongoing education, and development programs are available to expand each staff member’s individual capacity for growth. Work Experience:5 years nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager role including proven experience with organizational change, program development, and process improvement techniques.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

AND
Masters in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Finance, or related field or ability to obtain within 5 years of hire

OR
Master's Degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
