Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service in a fast-paced work environment. The pharmacy customer service personnel is responsible for handling multiple tasks per day including supporting customer needs, handling inventory, and performing clerical duties. Key Responsibilities:•Provides excellent customer service by exhibiting patience, concern, and care in all patient interactions.•Processes sales of medications and other merchandise.•Assists in merchandising the department.•Advocates and supports patients in enrolling in pharmacy programs such as medication synchronization.•Receives, unpacks, and verifies all product is received and in acceptable condition. Stocks, cleans, and sorts pharmacy product.•Prepares product to be mailed or couriered to patients.•Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy and dispensing area.•Assists pharmacy personnel with clerical functions.
