Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as ambulatory care supervisor for our Infusion Center at South University Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. This RN works 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm in a salaried position.Provides oversight of the daily operations of the assigned department including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets. Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy. This individual may perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient’s health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family’s self-management skills. Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Current RN license with the ND State Board of Nursing upon hire.
MN RN license within 3 months of hire. - Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required within 6 months of transfer or hire.
- Experience: 2 year’s nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Infusion Therapy experience is preferred.
