Registered Nurse (RN) - Nurse Manager (ED & Med/Surg)

What You'll Do:

• Assess, direct, and manage the delivery of nursing and patient support services 24/7 to achieve high-quality care for a designated patient population.
• Ensure streamlined patient care systems that promote smooth transitions across the care continuum.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication systems to maintain efficient and effective operations.
• Collaborate with department Supervisors to ensure smooth coordination and communication across teams.
• Attend bed flow meetings and rounding in various departments to optimize patient care delivery.
• Oversee regulatory readiness and drive compliance with healthcare standards.
• Meet financial and productivity goals while maintaining quality of care.
• Lead hiring efforts, conduct staff development conversations, and onboard new team members.
• Support staff growth through orientation, ongoing education, and development programs.
• Contribute to and champion our Pathways to Excellence Journey, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Where you'll work:

• Office onsite at St Mary's Hospital Superior
• Full-time, five days per week
• 25-bed Med/Surg unit; 13-bed Emergency Department

Educational Requirements:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing is required. If candidate holds an ADN, a BSN degree is required within 3 years

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of acute RN experience with proven leadership experience
• ED experience preferred
