Job Description:
Partners with the manager to assess, direct, manage and evaluate the delivery of nursing care and patient support services to achieve a specified standard of care and quality metrics for a designated patient population. Ensures streamlined patient care delivery systems, which promote smooth patient transitions across the continuum. Accountable for effective fiscal and operational management and maintains optimum patient care unit systems, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication. This position collaborates in the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities. Works with the Twin Ports managers & supervisors to ensure staff orientation, education, development and evaluations are completed.Education Qualifications:
BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing is required. If candidate holds an ADN, a BSN degree is required within 3 years
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years previous RN experience
Recommended Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years previous surgical services experience
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
