Job Description:

Seeking a sterile processing technician to serve at Essentia Health's Fargo Hospital on 32nd Avenue. This employee works full time days, 40 hours per week, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. A holiday rotation and occasional weekends are required. A $3000 bonus is available: $1500 pays out after 30 days of employment with a 2-year commitment, and $1500 pays out after 2 years.Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

  • Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) within 2 years of hire.
